Gougane Barra horseshoe, on a tiny island just off the shore of a great lake, lies the hermitage of St. Finbarr, you can also visit the clappers bridge leading ot where the Tailor and Ansty lived.

Sheeps Head and the Goats path breath taking sceanery. Glengarriff woods and Knockboy and the priests leap (an old green lane leads from Bantry over a remote pass in the mountain to Kenmare and beyound).

Bantry lough Bo-Finne, Glengarriff upper and lower,Schull and Gougane are all great places to fish. Day trips to Beara Peninsula the only place in Ireland with Cable Car. Mizen Head and Barley Cove. Garnish Island and Bantry House, short trips. Dining - Relax in the evening with good food in Bantry or Ballylickey.
